My paintings are an expression of gratitude, resilience and joy. They invite viewers to pause and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us, even through life's challenges.

This painting reflects this philosophy. The pearl necklace is a metaphor for a life well lived, with each pearl representing a unique experience. Some shine brightly with moments of happiness and love; others are darker and more subdued, symbolising loss, hardship and growth. The silver star fish represents my version of the cross, as the ocean and nature is my place of worship. Together, they form something complete and beautiful, reminding us that every experience contributes to who we become.
